Directions
Enter the Guard base at the 133rd Airlift Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard sign.  Stop at the guard building to show your ID and receive directions to the Museum. 

Note:  A Government ID, valid driver’s license or other recognized photo ID is required to enter the base.55111

From the North on 35W
Go east on Highway 62. Exit at Highway 55/Hiawatha.  Turn right at the stoplight (Hiawatha Avenue).  Go approximately 2 blocks and take a right at the 133rd Airlift Wing sign.  

 

From the North on 35E

Going south on 35E, exit on Highway 110 West. Proceed west and exit at Highway 55/Hiawatha.  Turn left at the stoplight onto Hiawatha Avenue.  Go over the highway approximately 2 blocks.  Take a right at the 133rd Airlift Wing sign.

  

From 494

Take 494 East/West to Highway 77 (Cedar) North and go north.  (This intersection is just before the Mall of America.)  Turn on Highway 62 (Crosstown) East.  Exit at Highway 55/Hiawatha.  Turn right at the stoplight (Hiawatha Avenue).  Go approximately two blocks and take a right at the 133rd Airlift Wing sign.

 

From the East

From Highway 55/110 proceed west.  Exit at Highway 55/Hiawatha.  Turn left at the stoplight onto Hiawatha Avenue.  Go over the highway and proceed approximately 2 blocks.  Take a right at the 133rd Airlift Wing sign.

  

From the West

Take Highway 62 (Crosstown) East.  Exit at Highway 55/Hiawatha.  Turn right at the stoplight (Hiawatha Avenue).  Go approximately 2 blocks and take a right at the 133rd Airlift Wing sign.

The museum is located on the Minneapolis-St. Paul IAP. The Minnesota Air Guard Museum has 20 aircraft on display, assorted exhibits on military aviation and a gift shop. A replica JN-4 "Jenny" flown by the 109th in its early years on is on display in the atrium of the Minnesota History Center. A replica of a Curtiss "Oriole" is on display at Base Operations, but due to security reasons, it is not open to the public.
